Salvaged

Salvaged is back in action: new trailer and lots of new info!

It’s been a while - that much we have to admit.

Don’t, however, take our absence from the spotlight to mean we haven’t been busy working on Salvaged. Our community team may have been super-busy with other ventures, but the dev team has been plugging away all the while, making sure Salvaged is everything it can possibly be.

You’ll be happy to hear that we’re now in the final stretch: building the final levels, making subtle changes to AI behaviour, finishing the sound design and other small but important changes (more on these in future blogs). Plus, we’ve been testing and optimising the game for both VR and non-VR players. Long story short - Salvaged is nearing release.

In fact, we’re happy to announce that Salvaged will soon be released to Steam Early Access. We’ll have a more exact date as the final pieces fall into place.

For those who need a reminder (or find themselves on this page for the first time - welcome!), in Salvaged you play as Alex Pieterson, commander of the Salvage ship Thaddeus. You must command your team of agents through alien-infested wrecks in search of valuable salvage - and, as the story unfolds, something much more unusual.

Breaching 1080

The game takes place from Alex’s command room, from which you’ll build up your elite team of agents, manage their equipment and send them out on daring contracts across the galaxy. Salvaged features an original story penned by Daniel Hunter-Dowsing, a twisting narrative that integrates seamlessly with the game’s crew and combat management systems.

Of course, the game has been built from the ground up with virtual reality in mind, but we’ve made sure Salvaged also plays just as well for those playing on a normal 2D screen.

We'll have more info on the continued development of Salvaged in the near future.

Below is our brand new teaser trailer; a sneak peek into the excellent narrative of Salvaged.
